That’s how I’d describe my day. Produce-packed. For reals.
I just ate a very wide variety of produce. Mostly fruit. Fruit is amazing. Vegetables are blech. (Okay, I’m kind of exaggerating. I like vegetables for the most part. But fruit is just 8 million percent better.)
Plus, fruit is just totally gorge. Even my heinous iPhone pictures of fruit look beautiful. Especially when compared with the picture of my dinner tonight. Can we say, nasstayyy.
I don’t know if you realize, but eating eleven different types of produce in one day just doesn’t happen for me. Typically, I can’t afford to have such a wide array of food because it will go bad before I can get to it.
Also, today has made me decide that I could live off of fruit, yogurt, and almonds and be 110% satisfied. (Until I started craving bread or chocolate or green bean fries or chips or avocados…)

You did have a produce packed day! Looks awesome. I like veggies… just a little bit. I’d rather just not eat them though haha.
January 25, 2013 at 3:57 pm
Hahaha, unless they’re slathered in cheese, I could take ‘em or leave ‘em.

You’re right, fruit is the best. I would eat it all day long if it wasn’t so darn expensive and I didn’t go through it so quickly!
January 25, 2013 at 3:58 pm
Totally! I have to ration it out through the week so I don’t eat it all in one day… That didn’t go so well yesterday
.

I love fruit. I have to stock up like twice a week almost!
January 25, 2013 at 3:58 pm
Seriously! I would go broke stocking up twice a week, haha.

Very healthy! Raspberries are so amazing! I had forgotten about them until now so thanks for the reminder
January 28, 2013 at 2:08 pm
Of course!
. (Sorry this took me so long to respond- this comment ended up in the spam folder for some reason!)

Fruit was my lifesaver when I first started Weight Watchers, I ate a ton of it and still didn’t gain weight (like some people said I would). My fiance makes fun of how fast I eat berries. They’re awesome!

It’s been the only thing keeping me on this whole no added sugar thing! I usually try to limit my fruit intake because I could eat an insane amount of it, but sometimes I just want to eat barrels full!

Yum! I truly believe that you can never get too much produce in your diet! It is so delicious and I love the health benefits that go along with eating it. All of your produce eats for that day look amazing. I am especially intrigued by the idea of dipping veggies into Laughing Cow cheese wedges. I love Laughing Cow cheese but never though to pair it with raw vegetables. Awesome idea
.

Laughing Cow is great in/on anything! Try melting some into some hot pasta… Insanely delicious!
January 25, 2013 at 11:35 am
I agree, fruit is the best
I’ve been slacking somewhat on my veggies lately because of all the oranges I’ve been inhaling
I need to get myself a pomegranate, you always make it look sooo good!
January 25, 2013 at 4:01 pm
Winter citrus is just so damn delicious, what can we do?!
January 25, 2013 at 11:35 am
I am jealous! I’ve been lacking on the fresh produce lately since I didn’t make it to the grocery store. It’s been random throw-in-things-from-the-pantry meals for me this week!
Aaaand now I’m craving almonds for some reason
January 25, 2013 at 4:01 pm
Seriously girl, I’ve been eating a ridiculous amount of almonds each day. My body must be craving the fat! Orrrr I just want a crunchy, salty snack. One of the two.
January 25, 2013 at 12:44 pm
Whoa, girl! All of that looks so awesome! Well done with the photography and getting all the servings in! I love what you said about the 1/2 banana as breakfast dessert haha it definitely happens. Pomegranates are such a pain to peel, though they look so awesome in your yogurt bowl! Have a great weekend!
January 25, 2013 at 4:02 pm
I’m a cheater… I buy the pomegranate seeds at Trader Joe’s since I hate dealing with the pomegranates! Haha!
January 25, 2013 at 12:50 pm
You basically posted some of my favorite foods (minus the cheese and beef) – loved everything about your post. Thanks!
January 25, 2013 at 4:03 pm
Glad you enjoyed!

We’ll take you fruit shopping tomorrow
. I love you!
January 26, 2013 at 5:27 pm
Xo!
January 25, 2013 at 7:03 pm
I haven’t seen that cherry mix at TJ’s yet but I will look for it. I love throwing veggies and fruit into a smoothie…especially with spinach or kale!
January 26, 2013 at 5:27 pm
It’s the best! I love eating it plain for dessert.
January 25, 2013 at 11:38 pm
If it were healthy to live solely on fruits & vegetables… I think I’d be fine
Can’t ever get enough.
January 26, 2013 at 5:27 pm
Absolutely! Especially during the summertime!
